Further to our recent update, Kareen Mackey and I had the opportunity to present to the Select Committee on behalf of Property 101 Group last week.
Chaired by the Hon. Minister Barbara Edmonds, alongside fellow Finance and Expenditure Committee Members Hon. Nicola Willis, Helen White, Chloe Swarbrick, Damien Smith, & Anna Lorck, with 97 Submissions and a lot of passion shining through, I don’t envy them!
It has been a privilege to be so involved in shaping the legislation that will support the industry to do what we do even better.
A number of key aspects of the Bill were addressed throughout the day, as well as some gaps! However one outcome was resoundingly clear, in that all stakeholders support seeing some change now and then perhaps a more holistic regroup down the track. Lets not delay this any longer!
This really is an exciting and pivotal time for the sector and now we wait with baited breath for the Select Committees report to the house and further developments.
