As you may have seen the Hon Judith Collins and Hon Nikki Kaye have recently provided a draft Bill to Housing Minister Phil Twyford seeking Government support in their adoption of a Bill to reform the Unit Titles Act . It has been a long road for our Working Group with no shortage of healthy debate and perseverance by all!

A letter and the draft have been send to the minister asking that he adopt the legislation, if this does not happen the bill will become a private members bill in Judith Collin’s name.
In 2016 MBIE provided their discussion document outlining proposed changes, spoke at our event & held public workshops. Both Property 101 Group and SCA(NZ) members have continued to be involved through the Working Group and also made a detailed submission early 2017.
We will continue to keep you in the loop as things progress and we hear more.
